The Vision Behind Krishi Bandhu
Krishiverse created Krishi Bandhu to train a rural workforce with the necessary skills. The intention is to link youth with the latest-agricultural technologies right in their localities. Class 10-pass and 18+ youth get income opportunities through the program while advancing their professional skills. The idea is a blend of money independence, village development, and technology getting used. Rural youth are empowered to become leaders of agri-business and at the same time practice entrepreneurship.
How the Agri-Entrepreneur Model Works
Krishi Bandhus are given a 10 km area in which they have to promote Krishiverse gadgets. They carry out advertising, marketing, and direct selling of smart agricultural tools to farmers. They are given a commission for each sale, in addition to a monthly stipend of ₹2000. This helps the youth to manage their own microbusinesses in which they can also be of help to the local agriculture. Besides, it is a scalable model for spreading entrepreneurial skills and local economic growth.
Training and Skill Development
Krishiverse imparts skill development in sales, communication, and digital marketing to youth. Youths learn the skill of demonstrating intelligent agricultural equipment, and explaining their usefulness to farmers.
